On 12 May 2026, for 1 week only, our Club moved to an earlier start time of 2.00 pm, to accommodate a visit by members of the City of Bath PC. It was the final part of their ‘Irish tour’, having already been hosted by clubs in Dublin and Cavan.
They joined in our normal ‘melee’ arrangement and, following a few very enjoyable games, sojourned to Pickie BC clubhouse for refreshments and ‘craic’. Pickie had kindly opened their premises early, to accommodate the occasion.
All North Down members were presented with small mementos and, our Hon.Treas. Freda was presented with a City of Bath PC pennant. Freda presented their Chairman with an engraved memento on behalf of North Down PC.
A nice group of people ( like ourselves ) and an invitation to visit their Club at any time,
