Congratulations to Helen and George on winning the Bill Miller Mem. Doubles on 26 April, the first competition played in the 2025 programme. A good contest where, going into the 7th and final round, there were 4 teams in contention for the trophy. At the finish, Jos/Alex and Helen and/George each had 5 wins and a points difference of +17. In accordance with current competition policy, the winners of the ‘head to head’ during the competition took precedence and that was Helen/George. This is the first time when that particular aspect of policy has been required.
